SHIPBUILDING AND DRY DOCKING

This modular program provides comprehensive technical as well as managerial knowledge and develops operational skills for personnel associated with ship building, major ship repairs and dry-docking projects. The approach needed to plan and organize effectively at the ship owner/manager’s office, and supervise and assess the entire project, are included in the program’s scope. It also covers extensive engineering knowledge needed to ensure effectiveness of monitoring process and decision making at various stages of any major project. The program is applicable for shipbuilding superintendents and managers, senior sea going engineers, technical and managerial staff of ship building supervision services organizations, and maritime trainers wanting to enhance their personal knowledge.
